The name of the publisher helped the game garner attention in media, and the game’s marketing on social media allowed the game to remain in the public eye until its release on Early Access on May 10, 2022. While not a lot of people would know about Lavapotion, Coffee Stain has been a prominent publisher of quality indie games in the past, like Satisfactory, Goat Simulator, and Valheim.
